What a beautiful day out .I caught 77 Crappie today all on Takeum hair jigs . Only kept those well over 12'' and up . Boat flipped them all, they were all open water roamers today . Huckabee 13' Trident and 8 lb Stren as usual . Had to weed out a bunch on livescope and tried to pitch jigs at the biggest . A good year so far , been 459 hit the deck so far . I have not fished as many days as I used to but may pick up once spring weather gets here . Got a big bowl of fillets to share with neighbors . Looks like they will get a break here in Pope Co with snow in the forecast .
