During the hot summer months we keep our RV in that part of the country and trout fish. In my opinion those cooler water temps make for a more enjoyable day than most crappie waters at that time. Grizwilson made some good suggestions. However, your might want to also consider the Norfork river and the White river south of the town of Norfork as the crowds thing out quite a bit from the other locations.
