    i am not dealing well with the death of yet another VERY close person to me. my girl is being VERY strong and if it wasn't for her i'd probably give up & move away from this place....i'm letting you all know this stuff to know i have not been ignoring phone calls, i've been spending some time getting right with God or at least trying to. if i had a boat i'd be on the water constantly. i'm leaving on tuesday for oklahoma and i'm on vacation all next week, you all pray for me, minnowman. please! thx, caleb

    Man I know where you're coming from. i lost my dad in '99. Someone told me

    Sorry to hear of your loss. Be assured that we are praying for you and yours. You need time to adjust, it does get eaiser, but the hole is never filled, only ringed by time and angels. God bless and tight lines.

    We always need to know why when something like this happens. Especially when a loved one is taken in their prime. This happened to me when my wife died in her 30's after a long illness. I can give you some advice. But, no one can tell you exactly what you need to be at peace. I can see hints of what God had planned for me and maybe all of the trials have been necassary to get me ready for the trials to come. Now, I don't see the majority of the population being tried as much as me; so, that is another of my "why" questions.
    Search your heart for what God has planned for you, then try to follow his will to the best of your ability. You will experience small and great victories for the rest of your days.

    You are all great inspiration to me...I have nothing else in words that could do justice for the uplifting feeling I got as I logged onto Crappie.com tonight. I am going to try my best to leave early tomorrow for some MUCH NEEDED peace and hideaway in a place I like to call HOME.....all of you deserve to have God's blessings for the kind words and I hope I can return them someday in your time of need if that day comes!
