We will be headed to Shoal Bay a week from tomorrow to stay for four days. Typically the fish are starting to move onto the shallows around that time, but are not full fledged spawning yet. Any temperature fluctuations move them in or out pretty quickly as well. We plan to long line a bit in some of the areas where we usually catch them during the spawn, but will stay out a bit deeper looking for them. If that doesn't work, we will try moving shallow, but they don't all go at the same time anyway. There will be a few shallow and a few out deeper. Moving around til you find em seems to be the key.
