Thread: Took the boys out

I know its not crappie but had to share this with you guys. I took my two boys out last night on beauitful Bever Lake . Not much action but on the way back to the ramp we decided to fish along the bank and, WHAMM! My 6 year old hooked into a big bass. He was excited. He muscled it all the way in. All I had to do was lip it and take the lure out of its mouth. At this time I think I'm more excited than he was. There's nothing better that having on of your kids catch a fish like this. The bass wieghed 5 lbs even on the digital scales. I was so proud of the little guy.
