    Nimrod,

How do you bait with the soured grain: do you just pour it out of the bucket or put it in a burlap bag and sink it or what? Also, do you sour the sweet feed, too, or just the wheat? Thanks in advance.

The sweet feed ,just pour it over the stumps or other cover. Wheat or other grain should be soured to work fast.
Hey , tore them up this morning and we caught about 3 limits by 8.30.:D It's funny as a boat was within a couple of boat lengths and had'nt caught the first Catfish when I left. I knew the folks and asked if their grandchild wanted to fish in the back of my boat. They laughed and said that the child already said she was in the wrong boat.:D We watched the child catch several and returned her to their boat. I told them to move onto my spot when I pulled out. Her great grandfather is a friend and I always like to see kids catch fish. I've got two more holes baited that have'nt been fished yet this time.:D
I hope baiting works as good for you and the others wanting to try.

Ever consider fishing Nimrod Lake ? The catfishing is getting red hot. We are catching the fool out of them with poles , who needs a trotline? :D

    Nimrod,

We've been going to lake chicot for a long time, & I can't get my uncle's out of the "tradition" of going to chicot. We always go down there in may, & the crappie are hard to find, & when you do find them, most of them are dinks. My dad & I crappie fished for 3-4 days, & only found a few worth keeping. We actually talked about going up to nimrod, & I'm gonna work on them some more. I need to get up there & learn that lake. Keep catchin' those cats.

    Randy
