I spearfished Greers several times in August about 10 years ago and never saw a crappie. I don’t go any deeper than 30 feet though. Saw lots of small smallmouths hangin on points and lots of anchors.
I would bet so , it seemed to be a rocky deep puppy where we were and really clear .
