If its 30K a month for all the wells, thats not too bad. I know some farmers that have deep wells that spend a grand a day per well to run them. At least they went with electric. Right now you can save money running an electric well opposed to diesel.

Thats good that they will let you put out stuff for habitat. It could make for some good fishing later on down the road.

What county is Horseshoe Lake in. I'd like to look it up county map book. Sounds like a real good lake when it is full.

I just had a look at the Peace River in Florida and it appears to be down about 16 feet. Man those folks really need to look hard at how many folks they are hooking on to water that ain't there. My mom and brother live there and they say they are really hurting for water. Like the old saw, "Water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink". Its all salt or sulphur.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!

Ha...when I say the name of this thread and the number of posts on it...I thought that y'all might be planning a lynchin' for ol' ceb...:D

Good to know that y'all aren't gettin' rid of me, but even better to finally hear the news about Horseshoe filling up. Although I actually didn't mind the low water levels as long as someone would have built a new ramp. All that's happening in my mind is that they are just puttin' more water in there and providing more fishable habitat for those danged crappie to hide-out in. They might be a little harder to find now...

And about the sinking of cover in the lake...Horseshoe isn't private...just the land around it...so they can't say anything about you puttin' stuff in it...and I'd laugh if someone told me to give 'em the coordinates just to be able to sink it...

Thanks for giving me the heads up, Pox. I guess it will be about filled up by the time I get back over there to fish it...
