You have any idea who they used?

My girlfriend has never caught a really big fish of any kind and I was thinking a guided striper trip would be alot of fun for her.

Hey GOOCH for your weed problem put a small split shot about 3-6' in front of your lure and this usally stops the weeds from getting to the bait and every now and then give the rod a jerk forward and this clears the weeds. hope this helps.

The reason I asked about the thermocline is because on sardis it is about 12 foot in the hot summer months.
    Thanks for the information.

Thats a great idea and I can see where it would work like a charm on some of the samller stuff thats the real problem. When a larger string of the grass or a clump runs down the line to the bait its easy to see as the rod stops shakin and bends but the little stuff you never notice until you pull the baits.

    Thanks for the tip.
