Nimrod Fish & Eat Postponed
From the looks of things we are going to have to postpone the Nimrod fish &
eat to another time. The fishing has been falling off steadily since the spawn with several of the locals just catching enough to eat. My apologies to anyone that was making plans to attend.
The pavilion I wanted was already reserved for the date I wanted. Due to my work schedule and my car wreck, I have been having to stay in L.R. all week and come home on the weekends. I have not been able to do any fishing or building new fish beds due to having to take care of my place on the weekends.
I've been doing pretty good lately but missed work Thursday and Friday due to my R.A. flairing up again.
I still very much would like for NIMROD and I to host a fish & eat in the future but right now is just not the best time for me. Once again, my apologies to anyone who was making plans to attend.
If any Crappie.com members ever want to come over and try Nimrod fishing don't hesitate to PM NIMROD or I for the latest report. We'll do our best to put you on fish.

Since this gathering has bit the dust, does anyone else want to have a Fish-n-Eat this month? Due to my endless supply of books to learn, I wouldn't be able to help plan it, and I more than likely wouldn't be able to attend. But, I would still like to see these gatherings continue and for all you guys have a blast. Just throwing all this out there for y'all to debate...

I will be nightstalking on Ouachita the 15th and 16th and 22nd and 23rd if anyone is interested in helping me out a little we could do one there. I am 100% commited to those dates and locations though, as a few buddys have already made plans to join me. Ouachita is a great place to stalk as there is rarely any skeeters and even fewer snakes.

I have to get a nephew married in Houston on that weekend. I will be doing the island camping thing from the 27th to the 4th on Ouachita my self.

Did you know there is a street in west LR named after you?? I saw a sign advertising a garage sale on Gooch street yesterday. I might have time to find it and cruise it soon. I have never know anyone with a street named after them before.

I will be fishing out of Northshores marina as I keep my toon in a slip there. A 32 foot toon with a 8x12 hard top is more than I am willing to tow back and forth from the lake.

God I would love to make it. Maybe in Mid July for me. Will be in Destin the week of the 4th and in New York the week of the 23rd. All that and trying to move into a rent house and start building my new house.....

BW, you sticking around the Dice, or are you moving closer this way? Either way, good luck with building a house...from what I hear, it's a nightmare...:rolleyes: And, it will definately cut out the crappie fishin' for a large length of time.
