I've been joking about this but after reading more about these fish and hearing what you've read about them it seems to me that this is a real problem that could get out of hand if they are aloud to continue, but I've not really read anything that might stop these fish from continuing to take over our waters. Thanks for the info gooch.

I need some education about minners. That article said these carp are big minners. Since I don't have a minner recipe, I usually dump what ever is left over from a trip. Does any one know if that is a good thing or not? I don't want a 40 lbs minner jumping in my boat someday.

I've wondered the same thing about the minners DrPepper. Those big headed carp ARE around east ARK. Had some jump in the boat at Midway last year. A few weeks ago when going into Lost Lake, 3 jumped in the boat. Anything that touches the Mississippi either has 'em, or will. It's funny at first to see all those carp jumping out of the water----until one lands on you!

I have seen the white amur jump. (I used to bowfish religiously.) What we are seeing on this video are "asian" carp. My old bowfishing buddy shot one of these down at pendleton about 10 yrs ago and got it mounted. Talked to several fish biologist and "finally" found one that knew what the sucker was.
