Chris, looks like you had a pretty good time on your trip and caught lots of fish to boot. I bet your grandpa didn't tell you all of his tricks, they always keep one up their sleeve. Congrats on your catch and thanks for the post.

Lookin real good Doc and I genuinely love the hat. When you going to come back to Greeson and jerk some up with me. I'll get a bucket if that's what it takes to make you feel at home!!! You know you're going to make it real hard on me when you finish med school. I'll have to drive to wherever you settle to see ya when I need ya. Great catches, no doubt!!!

Thanks guys. The water level at Horseshoe seems to be holding. It seems to be the same level that it was back earlier in the year. The boat ramp is still a mess, although he did take the time to put a bucket of gravel in that big pothole just under the waterline...I guess that deserves the $5 launch fee...yeah right...somebody should pay me $5 to launch at that ramp...

And no, I didn't make it to Midway on this trip. The river just got out of there after being in there for a week or so. I didn't think that it had enough time to calm down, so I skipped it this trip. I'll probably be kickin' myself for it later. I will fish it the next trip...

I'm sure that ol' papaw kept a few tricks still up his sleeve. But really, he's just like me in that he enjoys seeing others catch fish.

And Darryl, I'll bring the buckets!!!

I think I need a vacation to recover from my vacation. I guess you know it's a good one when that happens. Oh well, I'm now headed to Conway to do some bream fishing...I'll give a report later.

That hurts!!!! My personal life is digging into my fishing life! I have not made the first trip to Conway looking for the redears this year. Normally the wife is griping about space in the freezer by now.
Oh well. Maybe Chris will show me a thing or two about fishing Conway. In another month or so I will not be able to find them there.
