Thread: I hate crappie fishing....

I fished a backwater off Black River from 1:30 to 4:30 this afternoon. Not a single bite. I’m so frustrated. I might have a fish fry tomorrow night just to take out my frustration on the victims of previous trips.

lol, are the black river bays fishable? my dad has access to a nice private oxbow off the black but he won't go bc he thinks it is too hi and muddy.

I was able to get my boat into this backwater oxbow pretty easily. The gauge at Black Rock was 18.08 yesterday and I should have known better to fish the oxbow I was in yesterday until the gauge was down under twelve. I really think it was too high. Water was out of the lake. Weather was perfect, but the water was not. I'm toying with the idea of trying to get on current river this afternoon.

It's always been a Love/Hate relationship for me. I feel the same way about braided line.
