First they start requiring a 20 dollar permit. Secondly it expires July 31 so you get to buy 2 if you start early and fish into August. So for a week now I have been trying to buy one. Went to their website and completed the forms. Hit send. "There is a problem with pay.gov. Try again later". So I start calling their phone at dbwmr. Recording comes on and tells me the hours are 8-5 m-f, asks if I know parties extention, road closings (which I doubt) hunting draw info and any other thing hit 0 for main desk. It rings....recording comes on "Messages are not being taken at this time. Thank you. Goodbye". Been trying since Sunday.
Frustrating to say the least. If you are gonna require a permit, at least be available.
