So, I talked to the guy over at H2O, he gave me some options on what he could/would be able to do. I took the motor apart to diagnose the problem, it turns out the plastic plate that holds the brushes was busted probably causing the magnet to get broken also. I also found out that you can order parts directly from Minn Kota website. So that's what I did, I'll get it put back together when the parts arrive and hopefully give a good report. Thanks guys.

May as well order and install some fresh o-rings while you're at it.

First year I had my new trolling motor I got into some fishing line with it and it cut through one and let some water in.

They are a lot cheaper to order directly from OEM (if you are already ordering parts - shipping is expensive) as opposed to buying a prepackaged "seal kit". I think mine were only like .10c a piece - so I ordered about 3 seal kits worth for the price of 1 prepackaged kit.

I like having extra seals with me. I keep them with my backup prop pins.
