I have used it with both a 1000 and 2000 series Daiwa reel. I like the lighter 1000 series a little better than the 2000 series with the TSS but both are fine.

Name: IMG_1767.jpg Views: 269 Size: 77.1 KBI forgot to give a review of the rod. I really like the TSS. In my opinion it is a great value rod for what you get. Not quite the same as the JDM rods but still a nice rod. I fished my in-laws pond for a few minutes today and caught several decent bass with it. It is pretty dang sensitive. Randy (Alphahawk)said that in 2020, BnM will be making the TSS for Leland Lures. The new model will have slightly lighter guide rods, which will make the rod a little lighter and maybe a little more sensitive. Regardless, I will be purchasing another one for my Dad real soon.
