Sorry about the bearings Richard but otherwise a great post and pics. I carry an infrared thermometer with a laser pointer ($15 on Amazon) in my truck and any time I'm pulling my boat, or any trailer for that matter, when I stop for fuel or a Walmart run, I will shoot a temp reading of the hub near the seal. When it reads a few degrees above the outside air temp it's the first sign of potential trouble but well ahead of major repairs. By the way, I love the upper white river and Buffalo river area, I go there to hunt usually every fall and winter, beautiful.
