Thread: Beaver Lake 04/17/07 -- very wet !!!

Zeke and I went out and braved the weather once again, this time not quite as cold, just WET! Got on some real HOT white bass action -- we could not fish for crappie b/c the White's were devouring anything/everything you threw out there, finally once they moved out we yanked a few slabs, still hitting VERY aggresive when they do...on flourescent orange and silver shinee hinees from 6-14 ft. of water is where we'd keep trolling until we found them bunched on the bottoms in places (mostly off points!!) but nothing to put on a brag board or in a newspaper, haha...

We didn't end up keeping anything, instead we simply 'relocated' a few to the Marina at Hickory Creek (i'm sure ole Bill don't mind...gives him something to do in the daytime, haha) Good luck to all the rest of the week. Not sure if I will make it out but I'll be camping/floating the Mulberry River this weekend. Good week to all! MM
