Some years ago on a camping trip in the Ozarks we stopped at a old-timey country store and bought some of the best tasteing apples I have ever ate. All I can remember is they had the word black in them, what kind were they and about what would be the time of year to get some more, know it's much later in the year, seems like maybe Oct.
