Thread: Better today on NIMROD

The wind that is .:D I put out a load of stakebeds this morning. They would not sink !:rolleyes: I had to add some rocks to get them down.
I fished in the wind after setting out stakebeds. I kept 17 Crappie and released a bunch of small ones. I had 8 between 12 +'' to just over 15''.. The other 9 was 10'' to 12''. I had to fish 10' to 15' to catch them. Black/chartruse Umbrella tubes on 1/8 oz leadheads.:D The weather sure don't look good for the weekend. Most were females and still had eggs.

Hey NIMROD, I'm sitting up here in L.R. I plan on fishing hot and heavy Sunday and Monday. I don't know what the weather is supposed to do Saturday.
I told ya them stakebeds can be difficult to sink some times. I'll try to catch up with you Saturday and we'll see about making some up.
