crappie camp roll call

SURE WISH I COULD COME.....HOW FAR FROM ROGERS, AR? Think I could make it on Sunday or will it be over by then? I'd almost be willing to leave REALLY early just to make it in time for some Sunday fishing if it was still going on? Let me know......thanks! MM

It's going to be 3 to 3 1/2 hours for you give or take..

It should still be going on till I think Tuesday or Wednesday..You should be good...:D

When are you going down TJ....if you are leaving Sunday I would just drive to Ft.Smith and catch a ride (pay you gas....)?? You are probably leaving before then though, huh? MM

Yea I'm leaving tomorrow about 3...Staying and fishing with Jerry Friday..Fishing a little Saturday morning before meeting my wife at Oaklawn at 12...Wish Derby day wasn't on the Saturday of camp...I've thought about going back to camp Sunday morning...Havent made up my mind yet...But I would be going back from Hot Springs not FS...O'well ..Let me know if ya go...I may go back Sunday...

Is everyone staying in tents? Or is there a hotel nearby?If I stay Saturday night, which looks like is going to be the case. I dont have a place booked yet.

I am going to stay in my Landcruiser. I have a air matress and a ceramic heater so it shouldnt be to bad for me.

You can call the Lakeside motel at 870-398-5304 and see if they have any rooms.

Change of plans, will get there early Saturday morning and stay at lakeside motel instead of tent. Looks like it'll be to cold and rainy for camping Friday night.

Took Al Christian out again the other day in the hurricane-force winds. We still managed to land 6 crappie. I told him about this guy I know in med school who went to ASU and is a crappie fanatic named Chris Brown. He remembered you and said something to the effect that you were a VERY talented, gifted individual with all the potential of the world in front of you, our something like that. Damn, I just thought you were an above-average (on some days) crappie fisherman like me, LOL. Hang in there brother and be true to thine on self and for what's right. LATER.
