Default Cold day at M. Point (pics)

Got to Morgan Point about 11am, it was cold but for the first hour the sun was shining and there wasn't much wind. Then it got cloudy and the wind picked up and it was cold. The fishing was pretty slow but the ones I caught were good ones. I ended up with 6 keepers, caught on the road runner. I tried the shallows for a while with a jig, but didn't catch any. Water temp was 62 degrees, a big change from the 74 degrees last Tuesday. It's still better to go and see if they are biting, than to stay at home and wonder.

    Todays catch.

A couple of good ones, sorry its blurred, wife must have been cold.

Hope everyone had a good day.

Sometimes you don't have to get a bite to have a good day.

Nice fish. Glad to see some body catching some good ones. Got some days off coming up, planning on heading down south to Chicot. Might even try to hit Paradise while I'm there.

Some nice fish there Jerry, I did the same thing this evening when the gathering came to an end. Had to sneak off and see if they would bite. Congrats on your catch. Check mine out, it will make you hungry.....lol
You can't fish with a hung line!

Mr Jerry those were some good ones, I have seen the only way you can get a good mess of fish is you have to have 1 before you can get 2. Thanks for some of the advice on the How section. I will be asking you lots more questions. If you can teach A. Petty how to catch um, surely I can learn.

I would always make that decision...I think that I'll go check to see if they are biting...:D

Even tho they are slow...there's no place I'd rather be...

Thanks Skipper, I know if I'm not out there, I'm wishing I was.
