    Thanks for all the welcomes from my first post
    Fish almost year round for Crappie except when the Mallards are here which is not often anymore
    Here is a picture from before spring break
    Hope to give many post for all

    Crap, where are you fishing? Looks like you have them in a 10 gallon bucket, and you just drop a hook in and snag em.

    Hah...that's a great photo! I like the crappie hangin' out of ol' whiskers mouth...:D

    And you know it's been a good day when you've got dead shiners all over the boat...I guess a picture really is worth a thousand words...

    Caught these fish in 12-18 feet over grass. Grass was about 5-6 feet down.
    Just drifted the shinner over the grass.
    Would rather use jigs but when they are like this you catch two to one on shiner and usuaully catch the larger ones. The ones on the lid are all over 15 inchs most near 16.
