Jerry, you switched locations, so its ok to switch beverage choices for the fish, Who knows the next lake you go to , they may prefer Coors.....lo...... Decent looking fish, your freezer gotta be getting close to full. Thanks for the post.

A friend from work and I went to Chicot today. The lake was too rough to fish with all the wind. So we went into Connerly bayou. We caught some decent fish but no slabs. They seemed to be spawning, we were catching males and females in 2 foot of water on jigs. The water temp was 73-74 degrees.
Our catch today. I know wrong brand.
Bobby with a couple of nice ones.
Me with a couple.
Hope everyone had a great day.

You can't fish with a hung line!
nice lookin' mess you got there stumpjumper.
LA, do you still work?
Jerry when you signed on to Crappie.com you should have signed on as "Old Faithful". It seems like every time you go you just knock em in the head. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing you at crappie camp.
Stumpy,
You always talk of coworkers. But do you really have a job? It must be part time. You are always talking about your new way of fishing. What do you charge for guiding? Or are you just making this mess up and drinking beer.
the pics are not loading for me stumpjumper. how many did you end up with? when the wind gets up down there the bayou is about the only place you can fish. i like to fish the cypress knees in the bayou in about 1-2 foot of water.
That's where we were fishing, HawgPharm.Originally Posted by HawgPharm

Welcome to crappie. com Bigfin, yeah I still have to work. Went back to work today, I didn't think they'd be hitting after that cold front went through. Will be back after them this weekend.Originally Posted by Bigfin

Hey Jerry, Ya'll did pretty good for the wind. Our water temp here at Nimrod is 69 degrees to 70 around the bank. We can't find any numbers of fish in the buckbrush yet but I'm hoping that they will move in good by next weekend.
Keep after 'em and keep those good pics coming!![]()
