    Default Finally!

Well, no pictures but finally, me and Timmytom hooked up yesterday afternoon and went to Washburn lake and tore them up....I say we caught at least 50 some were smaller... but we ended up keeping 27 I think....and a 2 pound hybrid white don't know the difference...We caught most of them from 4 to 8 feet.I caught most of mine on a road runner yellow head, white body chartreuse curly split tail...Tim caught most of his by floating a jig, "he ties some awesome looking jigs" He has them for sale at all the local stores around here....I'll post a picture of one tommorow... It was a good day...:D

T.J. -- what can I say man? I'm glad you finally got on them...I would recommend doing this at least twice a week, it's good for the heart and mind is what I'm told....doesn't hurt the BELLY either....you and I both need to get on the ball with taking pictures...it seems we are the only two that don't post pictures...you know? Congrats on tearing them up...were there a TON of eggs still there? MM

Hay TJ, My bud and me went today to Waldron city lake and guess what bigger than Washburn caught 44 crappie kept 32 Biggest was 15.75 in. No eggs in none of them fished in 10 to 12 foot water 6 to 8 foot deep. I talked to some guys that fish it every couple of days and said no crappie shallow? They where buffled about it and said Hinkle was as bad. I think the crappie must have done thier thing overnight, water temp. was 67 f. The white bass you caught yestarday was full of sperm? So we picked up another dozen shiners and stopped at Square Rock about 1 p.m. and caught two male crappie shallow dang near solid black and 4 bull bluegill? The water temp. was 70 F. I'm dumbfounded. But I guess as long as we can catch them it really doesn't matter.

P.S. Thanks again for them shiners we needed them today.

I caught them two on south bank middle ways down. The wind was blowing hard and we were a little sunburned and tried so we fished it fast. Caught them on my red/white micro jig. Would've been better after 5 o'clock but had plans. Didn't fish east/north banks next to lily pads.

Congrats on the catches, sounds like y'all had some great times on the water. Y'all do need to start taking some pics, they are always fun to see.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

    Default Duh Update

Hay, them crappie have eggs just not matured yet still in tiny sacks. Russell said he did atopsies on the ones we caught monday and every one of them had eggs. The ones I caught two weekends ago was about to bust with eggs. So I thought since these did not have big rounded guts they had done thier deed. So I learned something again.
