Hello da Beast, welcome to the site, good to have you. Look forward to you posts. After todays fishing I don't know if I should be giving any fishing advise. I mainly fish roadrunners using a cast and receive method any time the water temp is above 60 degrees. If I know where there is underwater structure or can see structure thats what I like to do. If I'm fishing a new place I like to slow troll with several jigs out and try to locate fish. If I find fish and can see the structure they're attracted to on the depth finder then I'll bach of and cast to them. Hope this helps some. The best way to learn is read on crappie.com and ask questions, there are a lot of good fishermen on here. You can also learn a lot and have a good time at Crappie Camp. Try to join us there.

    A bad day of fishing

I guess that's why they call it fishing instead of catching. Only had 4 keepers today and 1 catfish. But it was so foggy I couldn't get around until after 10 o'clock. Wish you would have hollered at me Sunday, I'd like to meet you. I think I'm going to Chicot tomorrow since I didn't do too good at M. P. today. Do you have any reports from Chicot.
if i had known it was really you over there i would have come over and introduced myself. i know what kind of boat you have now so the next time i see you i will. we will have to get together and fish over there sometime. i think we were fishing in the same general area. my dad was back at work last week but he went back down there yesterday. i should have a report soon. i wish the ms river would drop so we could fish paradise and lee. i only wish i could fish as often as you do.

Looks like the Miss. river still has a slight rise going on. I talked to someone today that said they weren't catching a lot of quantity at Paradise, but what they were good ones 14" to 16".

it would be tough fishing with the water all out in the woods.
