Hey you beaver lake masters would this be a good week to fish beaver, or do you think the cold morning temps will be a problem? Also does a full moon seem to be a good time to fish? I know how it affects deer, but what about fish?

Taking pictures keeps me insane!
Slab Rookie, you should not have problems catching fish if you go out this week. Unless something major is planned in the weather that I cannot see in the forecast I can't see why you wouldn't be able to go out and catch fish every single day...high of 83 planned for today, need to be out there NOW... I am just getting ready to go if I can get ahold of my buddy that was supposed to call me at 6 a.m.--haha! MM

It will be good this week, especialy early before the next front blows through! Here is what we did yesterday morning as the last front blew through! We fished four hours and caught 23 nice fish! I had today off, but I'm on the water for the next 6 days.Originally Posted by Slab Rookie

Yep ya talked me into it. Does the full moon affect crappie? And what were they bitting the best on.
Fishing at night durring a full moon is bad, day is good in my experiences. I have been catching most of my fish on a YUM 1.5" Black/chartreuse curl tail grub on a 1/16 oz jighead.Originally Posted by Slab Rookie

You cannot go wrong with the YUM 1.5" Black/Chartreuse Curl-Tail Grub, if you would like to take another selection I have been catching them on White/Silver Shinee Hinee's as well, if you get any get the ones with Chartreuse heads or eyeballs, whatever they have, works well. Good luck!Originally Posted by J.T. Crappie Guide
