With the carp infestation it seems like Horseshoe and other freshwater lakes are getting more pressure. It's my understanding, that lake Houge has been up and down over recent years but is is really close to Jboro. Like others have said, the black river and all of its oxbows could be a potential. However, I would definately be prepared to roll up some miles on the odometers.
Yea I’m prepared to gas up no doubt! I would love to find a good little farm pond with some potential keepers in there. I think that’s all I’m really looking for. I know where to go if I want to get into the real deal. I’m 45 min from Arkabutla and 1:45 to Grenada. A lot of good water around here. Hopefully I’ll adjust
