Gooch, you got it right. that's my nephew from the trip to the Maumelle. He said it was the biggest crappie he's ever seen and the biggest fish he's ever caught. I hope that this will stick with him forever. He already went yesterday and all he caught was a bunch of bass, but he loves getting the line pulled. I can't say that I like the bass as much as the crappie, but it is hard to explain that one. I will give it another year and you will see that pretty little filly out with me all the time. she loves being out on the water, but she just doesn't understand the stopping the boat to fish. All she wants to so is "Fly Daddy, Fly Daddy."

Hey Jacob:
I need you to show me how to catch them on Hamilton this time of year!!! I fished there this morning and only came up with about a dozen. Had one that was nearly 16-inches and a couple other pretty good ones. Of course the yellow bass where everywhere. What part of the lake are you fishing? The water is really clear on the south end of the lake where we do most of our fishing. I guess the crappie are spawning under the docks in that area since there isn't any shallow cover. When we got back to my client's dock to take pictures and clean fish I offered to clean "a few" crappie they had caught under their dock this week that they had in a floating basket. They had 7 or 8 males that were all around 14-inches long!!! I usually stay on Greeson through the spawn and do real well on Hamilton in the post spawn when they come back to my condos.
