Thread: Fishing Spots Not Found?

I know most don't want to give up their favorite fishing spots, and that is okay, but can I get some suggestions on some fishing areas other than the river in and around White Hall. I fished a lot as a child with my Dad but I didn't pay attention to the locations. Now I am getting back into the relaxation called fishing, I don't know where to go? Any help out there?

Follow the Game and Fish Arkansas Fishing Reports. That's a good place to start. Central Arkansas favorites are the River...and both Maumelle Creeks...Lake Conway...and the hard to fish Lake Maumelle.

Now all the above listed places Have their HOT spots and Honey holes depending on the time of year...but as mentioned, the Fishing Reports can help you zero in a little bit.

Lake Nimrod is probably the most consistant crappie lake during summer months out of all the local bodies of water , all the lakes have their own times during prespawn , spawn and post spawn periods when they produce the best bites , you have to get to know each body of water and learn what times of the year is best for each of them

Blue Mtn has been hot . You can catch plenty on Nimrod but bad thin right now .
