Nice catch J.T., Hope your saving me some, going in the A.M. When you say Hickory Creek do you mean the area inside the right bluff line past the marina if your coming from Monte Ne? Thanks

Sort off, The back of big Hickory has been best. It's the first cove on the right past the marina all the way in the back by the lay downs and the weeds.

I fought my way to the ramp this weekend, 7,8,9 keepers minnow fishing but haven"t been able to put 15 in the boat. Are you just casting the jig and slow reeling it in? P.S. thanks for the lake info buddy. Have you caught any around the cut through of chimney cove yet?Have my pvc pile in this area and haven"t caught a fish off of it yet.

Very nice JT....thanks for the scouting report also...your posts have now contributed to my last 3 trips being a blowout with good fish. I am honing in on my Beaver Lake skills...I have began to locate fish using the method you taught me the first guided trip I booked with you! MM
