Sounds like a great day on some fresh water, Slick. For some reason, it always feels good to wear 'em out on a new lake. Hope your next trip is even more successful.

:D Made my first but not last trip to Reelfoot today. It is a great place to crappie fish. Got a late start because my partner over slept. Got on the lake about 9:00 am. There were boats everywhere so we trolled out in the middle of them. Started picking up some short fish right away but the better fish were soon to follow. Ended up with 33 keepers before we had to head back to Arkansas. The largest was a 14" female that was probably pushing 2lbs. I am going to try and take a vacation day this week while spring break is going on and take my daughter there. Will try to post some pictures later.

My wife and I are headed to Reelfoot April 11 for 4 days. This will be my 4th trip there, but the first time staying on the North end. I think the North end is more out of the wind and has a lot of cypress all over and some deep canals and cuts. I know where most of them are having fished it before, so I am anxious to get back there. My wife has never fished Reefloot, so if I can put her on some fish I'll be happy.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
