Last Friday ahead of the big cold front we found fish in 7-10 ft of water. White and chartreuse seemed to be the ticket. We had our limits in 2-3 hours. Went back Tuesday thinking the big front had shut them down - it didn’t - As the old saying goes - you never know until you go. The fish on Tuesday and Wednesday had definitely moved around but the bite was still good. Also, got to eat some of the rewards - fresh crappie, fried shrimp, Cajun boiled potatoes and French fries with some really good hot mustard coleslaw.
