The lake is still about 5 ft high with more rain expected next week. The spawn may be so far back behind the trees and buck brush that only a rare few standing guard on the outside get caught. We could smell fish in several places, but there's 10-20 feet of water behind where you can fish. Once they go shallow, they'll be relatively safe from fishermen.
