Welcome to the board Somersett, from lower Arkansas. I can't help with the Little Maumelle, but there are a lot of good fishermen on here that will jump in and give you some pointers. Good luck to you and your son, and post reports of your trip.

Anyways, welcome aboard Somersett. The lil' maumelle can be some fantastic fishing at times...other times it can leave you scratchin' your head. Start at the Marina and work your way upstream. Be sure to check out the last dock on the downstream side at the marina. Also fish the brushline just across from the docks. Check all depths because they can move up and down very quickly with the channel being so close. Afterwards, start fishing upstream from the marina...Be sure to give us a report when you get back.
