Rusty thats a nice mess of fish. I would have to imagine the wind was terrible when you caught em, since you never fish unless the weather stinks.

Good catch. Better check the water quality, that top crappie looks like it has whiskers!

A few, huh? Looks like a dam good mess to me...I guess those are Old Town crappie?

With the weather this week, you'd better go check out Midway. If you can find 'em, I'll be sure to come over there and bump you off your spot...:D

Good job Rutsy. I felt bad enough that I had to leave Sunday morning and not fish with you. Now I somehow feel worse. I hope you will show me how to fish Midway and Arktabutla sometime. I enjoyed learning from you the past 2 weekends.

Nice mess of fish you got there...I'm with CrappieHusker that top one is looking a little odd, haha! I assume you caught them deep? What do you fish with over there? MM

yeah, those are old town crappie.
some guys were killing the catfish on yoyo's. Glenn, I caught these in 2.5 feet of water. I moved out. finally I put a chartreuse crappie nibble on thats when they bit. Dern crappie, makes you want to kill your dog sometimes.

I was thinking that same thing chris, about midway. I'm going to Grenada this weekend though, if all works out.

Rusty, would I be out of my mind to go back to Old Town this weekend since i have fished it the last 4 weekends in a row? I was thinking of trying it and if it did not produce then move on over to the refuge lakes.
