The GF and I were out rambling last weekend and found ourselves at Nimrod looking around. We eventually found ourselves at the primitive camping area and she expressed a desire to camp there sometime and catch and eat fish. Sounds good to me too but I don't know where, when or how to begin on the fishing part of the equation. Crappie and/or catfish would be great. I have a sixteen foot jon boat and would be happy to pay a guide or somehow compensate for information that would prevent me from wandering the lake aimlessly all weekend and getting skunked LOL. Not looking to be spoon fed necessarily, but I'm completely clueless when it comes to fishing a lake.
