I been asked many times how I rig my jigs . I use bigger tubes like the 2'' Umbrella Tubes made by Southern Pro on bigger 1/8 oz insert unpainted heads made by Timmy Tom Jigs. Always check lead for burrs and remove if needed . A little lube , fishing scent or in a pinch spit helps . The jigs look more natural , saves money no using painted heads but best of all tubes tend to last much longer and no stopping to push them up while fishing . Sometimes If I don't hang it up and take care removing fish I can catch a limit on one tube , This video is small tubes and jig heads but you can get the idea loading a tube with a jig head .
