    Default blue mtn. blues

Went to the iron bridge and went up and down petit jean caught 12 crappie under size limit but did have a good day bought home 4 nice white bass. I saw lots of boats mr. blue mountain is the river cleaned out of sizable crappie or did I not hold my mouth right? This is the first time to fish it for some time years. How about the white bass run is it about to start or is it time?

    Thanks Everyone for the Welcome.
TT, I haven't fished up in the river in a couple of years, I know most of the sizeable crappie were gone in the river and Lake for the last 4 or 5 years, They seem to have made a comeback this year so far have been catching some pretty nice crappie in the main Lake, I've been working everyday since last Wednesday. Have a friend who picked up some nice sized one's near Persimmon Point and the Cove that is Northwest Of Hawg Island Friday Morning if you know where that's at (It's on West end of the Lake). I'm off next 3 days, If I catch any decent ones I'll post pictures. I think it's a little early for the white bass Run, But won't be long.

Hello there Blue Mountain, I've never fished Blue Mountain Lake yet but I sure would like to give that spring wade fishing a try! I hear it can be good at times.

Yeah, Need a little Rain, Which they are predicting for the Week to get the water up in the Cypruss Trees. The Wade fishing will really get good then, But watch out for the Beaver Holes!!!!!:D
