Here are some decent crappie caught yesterday at the Mayflower Dam spillway...they opened the gates today and ruined the fishing for a while. Got these on med shinner minnows 3ft down.

Hey Coats, nice slabs. I'm finally moved to near Lake Conway, off of 286 and if you ever need anyone to help you toss in those slabs, just let me know....:D Thanks for sharing those pics.

Nice catch Coats! Spillway fishing can change in a matter of minutes. I fish a little below Nimrod Dam but you have to catch it just right.

Hey Coats, that's some nice slabs outta the spillway. With the rain coming, how long do you think the spillway fishin' will be messed up?

The crappie should be on fire later this week. You know what that means...I'm gonna be callin' you up soon. Hope you ain't riding that train all week...:D
