Jake I'm glad your going to be able to make it. Look forward to meeting you and your nephew. You don't need to bring anything but your drinks for this get together.Originally Posted by Jakekatfishin

[QUOTE=gooch]In an effort to show that we don't discriminate, I'll bring my filet knife and we can clean those redear's from your morning trip, and fry them right along side the crappie.
I have a couple of condos that need a swim, so that will make us yet another hole on the Little Maumelle. Be sure you bring your gps so you dont have to hunt em next time you go. How tall are the condos you made? Mine are about 15 feet tall.
Mine ended up being about 5 foot tall and about that wide. I don't know if I am going red ear hunting or not. I am still trying to find those lids off the barge I posted about a couple of weeks ago. If this wind don't die down today, I will be hunting them in the morning. It is howling at the port right now.

I will try to come out, but I have to work, and my wife had surgery today, and I will have to see how she is doing tomorrow.
Vince I hope your wife is OK; I know when my wife had surgery it put a big strain on me.
I have a question for the Ring Leaders:
1. If you didn't go to work or fish this morning, you might not have noticed it was a little cooler this morning; what do we need to expect from the fish in ya'll's area?
2. Starting at noon, are we still nightstalking?
3. Where on that side of Little Rock can I get minnows?

We are starting around noon-ish. I have an exam on Monday, so I won't be doing any fishing tomorrow. But, I plan to be at the boat ramp on the Little Maumelle around 11am. Get things set-up and start cooking. I hope to hang out with everyone till about 2pm or so. Most folks plan on fishing tomorrow afternoon, but Gooch and probably a few others (anyone is welcome) might stick around for a little while after the sun goes down.
As far as minnows, we collected some money at the last get-together. I think we may take $10 out of that money and go buy a pound of minnows. Other than that, Zimmerman's on South University is probably your best bet since you'll be heading up to Little Rock from the south.
1) Fish should be somewhat shallow though I suspect this mild front may have pushed them a little deeper. We are going to fish further up the river than we typicaly do as all reports indicate the fish have moved up into the cypress.
2) We will have some stay for the nightstalk and I will be one of those. I have all the lights we need so dont worry about buying one if you dont already have one on hand.
3) If your headding out of Hot Springs with a stop at Chuck e Cheese you would probably have time to get minnows in the spa and keep them till you fish. If you want to get them here try Zimmermans on University or Hatchet Jacks in NLR on Chrystal HillOriginally Posted by Jakekatfishin
I'm looking forward to meeting some new faces tomorrow. And for those of you that have stuff to do in the morning, just come on down whenever you get a chance. Like I said, I'll be at the boat ramp from 11am till about 2pm.
Also, if anyone has an extra tank of propane left over from last grilling season, please bring it. Also, bring a chair and drinks for yourself.
And I hope that your wife has a speedy recovery, Vince.
Just put propane, cooker, and hot sauce in the truck, belly's growlin' already
DP, I just got back from bouncin' off stumps in Conway, redears are biting but I have yet to catch a keeper size using redworms, all little males
I know tonight I will be putting some line on the reels and watching the Hogs. I have not really been fishing since September and I can not wait. My nephew has called three times today excited about the fishing.
I will be there. Never have been on the Little Maumelle.
