Greers Ferry

I have lucked out & am going to be staying @ Greers this weekend. I am glad it's early enough in the year I won't be having to fight with all the holiday boaters. The only problem is I have never crappie fished the lake before. I will be staying across the lake from Choctaw. If anyone has any helpful pointers as to jig color, water depth or just any good holes please let me know.

I talked to this old man that lives near Greers Ferry today at the store. He told me the Stripers are common to catch while crappie fishing, not sure as to the accuracy...he told me it's a really good place I read about it all the time in Arkansas Sportsman and Arkansas Outdoors or something like that. I wish you luck, let me know how you do, wish I had some advice for you, or pointers...! Also, are you from Oklahoma, your name OK Razorback got me to wondering...I am a Sooner that somehow got over here in NWA! If you are, I am going to call you an Arklahoma Soonerback, that's what we call'em at work....haha! MM
