Thread: Lake Conway

Well I thought I would take the kids to lake Conway this weekend to try out the crappie, Does anyone have any good news about this place, I haven't heard much from anyone latley.

I took the wife to Overcup on saturday and Should I say it sucked. One fish.... I spoke with several people there and not many was having luck eitherI spoke with noone who said they had a great doy... Whats up with that?

It is about time for all kinds of stuff to happen on Conway. CEB should about have them all ran out of the pond and into the creek headed to the flats on Gold Creek by now. Last year the crappie did well on pink jigs fished about 1.5 ft on the flats. Try small jigs under a weighted cork for those monster red ears. I plan on being at the get together on the Little Maumelle this week end. But, I might spend the morning on Gold Creek on Conway.
