Default Great day on the lake (pics)

Guy's I had one of my best days today. Got there about 7:30 and put in at Connerly bayou. I went to where I caught my last 10 keepers yesterday, fished for about 30 minutes without a bite. So I went out into the lake where I caught so many yesterday, and they were there again. I caught probably 75 with about every fourth one a keeper, but the size was better today. I had my limit before 10:00 am after cullin some of the 10 inchers. I caught some good ones today, the biggest was 2 lb. 2 oz. and one 1 lb. 10 oz. I caught them 6 to 8 ft. deep in 10 to 11 ft. of water. It was fast and furious. I caught them on a chartruese jig with an orange and chartruese tube filled with crappie nibble from the bait pump. I really like these jigs, Crappieday made these with the sickle hook, I hooked most of the fish right in the roof of the mouth.

My catch for today, I miscounted and only had 19, oh well.

    Here are the two biggest.

This is the jig I was using made by Crappiday.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, If I can get in touch with my supervisor I'm going to take a vacation day tommorow and try to repeat today.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Nice catch. But that was fun. All I did was catch green crap and catfish. Oh well, feed the in-laws.
