Once the water temp gets above 60, casting and retrieving a roadrunner is my favorite way to fish.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

You can buy some shineee hineees at Wal-Mart and drop them around brush or laydowns and just gently pop them up and down. I've been having luck using them around brush in 30' plus of water latly.
Also you can put one under a bobber and float them around cover and twitch the rod a bit every now and then!

I'm pretty far from getting my tour card or a nice sponsor, but have had some great success dropping them to the bottom in 3-7 feet of water and twitching them into stumps and cover. Bring em up slow and it will help you find their depth.
This website is loaded with tips from far greater fishermen then myself, and it is scattered throughout with tips on colors, shapes, sizes and every other variable out there.
Stick with em until one cooler's full, or the other is empty!

    Good Luck!!
