My buddy at work told me he and a friend picked 16 keepers up in that area the other day. Have you been out their much yet to confirm this? He also said his friend went out yesterday with no luck. Give me a holla, I want to say I"m going tomorrow come ll or high water but I have 2 teenagers, and I hear weather looms also. Am about to go nuts not being out there yet.

Fish seem to be biting really well
I have caught a total of about 25 or so keepers in my two outings this week...also caught a bunch of big ole' white bass...haven't been in monte ne, i have been fishing in between hickory creek and point 12 mostly...seem to be lucky b/c my buddy only caught about 3 out of the entire bunch...and it's HIS BOAT! did you end up going out today even with the weather? how'd you do if so? MM

Nice, did get to go but only for a couple of hours before dark and just had jigs with no results. I"m new to jig fishing and may not be using the proper technique. What did you use for bait?
