    Has anyone ever tried pvc in a bucket? I am thinking about something like what J.T. did with bamboo except use pvc pipe.

    Here is what I have tried. Put em out on lake ouachita, and haven't been back to try em out yet.

    Hey Slab Rookie, I have built several PVC beds with buckets but there is a lot better way. First the buckets limit how far you can spread the PVC. Always remember that you want 8 to 10 inches between most of your structure so big crappie can move around and get in there.
    I have learned from some of the guides here on the forum that the $2.00
    18 qt.dishpans at the Dollar stores or Wal-mart work the best.
