man all that rain we had in this area sure muddied up the water bad, that coupled with high winds I caught zilch. The wind was blowing out of the west. Where I fish I could not get out of it. I fished about three hours and came home. The water temperature I was reading was 50 F It won't be long fellows on this lake. I guess I'll be driving down there for the next few weeks.
I did see a bunch of yoyo's out in one area where the water seemed pretty clear which the person had alot of catfish. I saw one crappie caught.
I also got my motor prop caught in a gill net while I was motoring wide open. The guy put it out across the lake. Why do they not run those suckers parallel to the bank? It was out in front of one of the houses on the southern end and I noticed that someone was outside watching me trying to untangle the damn thing out of my prop. I bet he is a mad dude about right now. I took my knife and cut the net up..

It scared me for a second or two when I heard my motor bogging down;I had to release the throttle real quick...:D
