Thread: Little Maumelle Trip Today

I thought that I would hit it before the rain. I pulled out of the house (West Little Rock) at 2pm and I was back at the house at 4pm. I had 12 keepers. One about 2 lbs. I threw about 6 back. The crappie were on fire. Cought them all on the upper end past the BIG HOUSE on the river. There is an old lake back there that sits in the middle of the river. You will think that you are never going to get there. You run into about 2 feet of water and then you hit that old lake just on the other side of the big house. The depth is about 12 feet. I cought them all on the ledge in about 6-8 feet of water.

Joe your going to have to get a bigger boat next time you throw out an offer to go fishing with you, cause your going to have some company. Nice catch, and even nicer to offer up a seat in your boat today.
