1 looks like fish. 2 & 4 look like bait balls. Not sure what 3 looks like.

Mostly bait. I noticed in 3 how the bait looks stretched out. Then I noticed your speed was 0. Fish or bait strung out horizontally will look like that at very slow speeds. At the same speed in 4 the bait was more vertical and showed the bait ball that way. In pics 1&2 with a bit more speed, the true pic shows up. Bigger fish to the left ( you can tell by the full arches) in pic 1, smaller fish stacked on the right ( you can see the fishes separation compared to a solid looking bait ball). Pic 2 shows the bait ball with feeders underneath.

Thanks for that explanation. That was very helpful - I forget about the effect of speed. Is there a proper speed?

No proper speed for fishing. Well, I guess there is. It's the speed they're biting at. Fish finder picsFish finder picsFish finder pics

Thanks for the help fellas! I guess where the bait go, the fish will follow! If a knucklehead like me can catch a few, somebody must be wearing them out!
